Decompression Tricks

I have just begun my process of re-integrating this POTENT year. But I wanted to share a few tips that help with the decompression process.
Remember, the packing, the entry, the exodus…this is all part of it.
(p.s. Remember to pour vinegar in each washing machine load.)

Thank you for that. I saw your video and heard your advice after cleaning our 40′ RV and deep cleaned (w/vinegar) sooo much stuff and had positive thoughts about all of it. Remembering how I used something to create comfort for others. My husband and I hug everyone when greeting them. I hope to personally hug you when we get Home in 2018. L:one and Light. Omega

It was my second burn this year. I m from amsterdam. One of my favorite places is PINK LOVE. The place you can find when your lost and see from a distance. Where they take care for you in the morning. Best sleeping place for your power nap. The cold water and cinnamon buns. The good talks to GOD. My water bottle i got, was also one of my favorite gift and will be used good. Thank you for being there.
Only one thing, i forgot my nice leather boots saturday morning. But forgot to get them, then your all were packing. They said maybe brought to lost and found. But there was nothing there. Maybe you know anything? All my pink love and i ll be back.

Thank you, Halcyon. Your videos are genuinely inspirational. While I did not attend the Burn this year, my FOMO was kicking in something fierce months before. I channeled that envy and self-pity into something more positive: volunteering with the Burner community in DC with their pre-Burn shipping container load-in, attending a decompression party and giving hugs to the dusted-off returned, and offering my web design skills to redo our village website. The bike rides and costumes already happen quite often, and there’s nothing that makes me happier than to see people double-take and then smile or laugh as I ride by, donned in a panda onesie (or a variety of other ridiculous outfits) while riding a lit-up, decorated bicycle. Bring it on, default world; I got some dust and hugs for ya!

Hello, I thought that I should take a moment to let you know that, although I have never been to Burning Man, I found your decompression tips really helpful and insightful.

    Peace. Matthew

Thank you Halcyon! We met last year by a porto and this year at Pink Heart. You are compassionate to have me take my sunnies off to look eye to eye. Thank you for being an example of the Burner spirit. We must preserve and promote this way of life on and off playa for years to come. It was a hard re-entry to default. 8 years of burning and I finally went camping after the burn to decompress. It was by far the best way to ease back into default however, still very challenging to return especially with all the natural disasters- eye opening. Our world needs more healing and love than ever. Keep the fire burning! )'(
