Dip Your Mind Into the Great Unknown: Experiences Not to Miss This Week in Virtual Burn

Virtual Burn 2021 kicked off today — and oh lordy, it’s delightfully raw and wily in all the right ways. As I poured over an entire week of event listings across seven Worlds, a familiar feeling nestled itself in my belly. It felt a little like I had arrived in Black Rock City, albeit less tired and dusty, and I was pouring through the WhatWhereWhen booklet, trying to wrap my mind around the “Woah, Why, and How” of it all.

The familiar feeling, I realized, was FOMO.

How the heck am I going to be able to remember, travel to, and fully participate in SO many phantasmagorical, mind-bending, enlightening community events, all within the span of one week?

It will require some recommendations, a shortlist, and a plan. We figured you might need one too. And so we’ve gathered WhatWhereWhen links, a handful of “not-to-miss” experiences, and links to available support services for Virtual Burners.

But there’s oh, so much more. You’re heartily encouraged to dive in and savor the vast smorgasbord of experiences Burners just like YOU have co-created for the sole purpose of sharing with the global community. Here are instructions for accessing each and every Virtual Burn World. We’d love to see your shortlist of not-to-miss Virtual Burn experiences. Drop them in the comments below!

Hello from the playa! I’m on a satellite connection. I really don’t want to miss Burning Man this year. I’m trying to get on the virtual burns but I can’t get my password to work. There’s a lot of dust on the keyboard and some naked people spinning fire while taking shots of GHB and Bacardi 151 but that’s not important. How can I reset my password so I can experience the real Burn? My user ID is PlantFoot. Splese send resennt .
