Chef Juke (Patrice Mackey) — a Burner since 1994 — has been volunteering with the Department of Mutant Vehicles since 2002 and serving on the DMV Council since 2007. He also supports the organization behind the scenes as a Tech Manager on the Burning Man Project Technical team, a role he stepped into in 2019. When he’s not supporting Black Rock City’s infrastructure, he is an avid maker and tinkerer who runs "The JukeShop," a neighborhood-focused makerspace in his home in Eugene, Oregon.
